Chinese port performance evaluation is carried out from three dimensions: scale status, operational efficiency and social contribution. Scale status refers to the scale level and operational capacity that port infrastructure can achieve, as well as the location advantage and industry status of the port. Operation efficiency will consider the utilization efficiency of the entire port coastline and the operation efficiency of the port distribution and distribution system from a macro perspective, and port operation efficiency such as wharf loading and unloading, ship berthing service and so on from a micro perspective. Social contribution refers to the social and economic contribution brought by port production and operation activities and the development of port-neighboring industries, mainly including added value of the port, energy conservation and emission reduction of the port, safe production of the port and other contents.
